Adrian.Blau@manchester.ac.uk dirk.brantl@uni-tuebingen.de

The panel will feature papers on any aspect of Hobbes – historical, political and/or philosophical.

We are aiming for 12 papers over 4 sessions. Papers will be pre-circulated, so written feedback should be of a high standard. Each paper will get an hour for discussion, so oral feedback should also be of a high standard.

Please email a title and an abstract of up to 300 words, to both Dirk Brantl (dirk.brantl@uni-tuebingen.de) and Adrian Blau (adrian.blau@manchester.ac.uk), by Wednesday 1 June, 2011.

Subsidies are not available; all contributors will have to secure their own funding for travel and for the conference. An official invitation can be made available for those requesting funding from their institutions or from independent agencies.

Deadline for abstracts: Wednesday 1 June, 2011.
